This is an introduction to the research we’re doing among young people for our current project: developing the youth section of the Culturefest (taking place on the 5th of September).

The Grumble Walk
As part of our training we scoured our area for things we wanted to change. This is an example of what we found. We want to build a cleaner, safer community that young people can be proud to belong to.

Re:Generate working with the Design Matters project

The Re:Generate team were commissioned to advise and then record the Design Matters scheme, which aimed to give local young people a better understanding of design and architecture. It also offered them the chance to create some of their own work.

We used several different methods to record the gallery visits, expeditions, and finally the week-long course at Central St Martins and the subsequent day-trip to Paris. Our photographs, videos and write-ups were then displayed in the Design Matters tent in the Fulham New Deals for the Community summer festival for the whole community to see.

Re:Generate — all about us

Sometimes it seems that young people speak one language, and adults, businesses and government organisations speak another.

We speak both.

We are a group of young people between ages 16 and 18. We have had extensive communication training through the Fulham New Deals for the Community initiative. Through Re:Generate, we provide professional consulting services for businesses and government organisations, building stonger and more sustainable communities.

We connect businesses and young people. If you have a message for young people, we have the tools and insights you need to be heard.
